Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2023 Author Posted March 1, 2023 While Houston had success in large part due to cheating, they also have one of the league's finest development programs. Hopefully Click can bring some of that information to Toronto. He should have no loyalty towards his former team, given the way that they treated him.

Why would he have loyalty towards a former employer?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2023 Author Posted March 1, 2023 Why would he have loyalty towards a former employer? I expect that an employee leaving on really good terms would have some level of loyalty towards them. I know that I would.

Shows lack of character and that kind of reputation follows you around. You'd hope that he'd stay quiet once he leaves the Jays also. Unless you're taking about sharing some of the general strategies they used and how to incorporate some of those in Toronto.

More the latter. What metrics do they use to evaluate prospects, what kind of exercises do their young pitchers do, and stuff like that.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 This could be the most important signing of the offseason. The astros were/are simply ahead of us in a lot of things and this could help bridge the gap.
