Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 Another cement mixer... laced to the gap. So Chapman knew he wasn't on the roster and didn't report? lol... what a dick.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Houston stole from that man, lol. They did. Houston and Atlanta building sustainable winners. It's good business. Jays still have a lot of work to do to get there. Houston is fine to let Correa and Springer go for someone else to pay. They are still slaying. Alex is actually a ninja now. He has already won and Atlanta looks competitive for a long run with his market or under market lock downs. Regardless of post season outcomes.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 JD pimping it a la Jays style. You're out! That one's a classic.

Can't disagree, Alex walking away, has paid off bigly for himself.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 I think Alvarez is better than judge I would take Alvarez over Judge for the next 5 years easily
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 L-M-A-O. Ray got destroyed. So goddamn satisfying. So I'm not the only one!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 Cleveland had Cole on the ropes, and he prevailed. What Aces do. Like Alek, jaysblue's f***ed in his head.. lmao.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 This kid's got sick stuff. IIRC

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Managers too often do s*** in the post season that they'd never do in a regular season game. Seems to me more often than not that it backfires.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Verlander and Kershaw are #1 and #2 all time in post season strikeouts at 208 and 207. Amazing

Jaysareus Verified Member Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 "pressure is something you have in your car tires". Jays quote of the year. Should be emblazoned on the clubhouse wall and above the Jumbotron

Specifically for SPs who were traditional SPs all year and then relieve or long relieve in the playoffs. From my memory alone these guys tend to give up runs a lot. Thinking of Price in the ALDS relieving Dickey... 3 IP 6 H 3 ER

Bumgarner and Strasburg most recently used as starters and used extra as relievers in games during the World Series.
