But in reality they are just aware of it and when they recognize offspeed, stay back enough to put a good swing on it...which Bo did. Definitely did not go up there guessing the lowest frequency pitch

Fair but he has been missing with his sliders all game - if he pitches it away, its really far away; if he pitches in, its a meatball. This one started at the middle of the plate, so was in his wheelhouse.

 

You def don't sit on his 2 seamer or curve, those have been painted all game.

When people say that the shift has ruined baseball, they mean that. A player getting punished for driving it up the middle.

You may still see it next year. Guys will still play directly behind the bag based on the rules described

They certainly will. I'm not anti-shift or anything, but it really sucks to see a player do everything right and get the shaft over and over. Any fan knows that feeling.
