saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 You're dumb Merrifield has tons of speed. Biggio has tons of speed. bunt up the first base line against a high leverage reliever...move the runner to second, score the run....put pressure on the D....one of the rare instances a bunt made sense.....Merrifield has been struggling and was in against their best reliever.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Whelp, I think I can turn this off. Vlady is a groundout machine this series. This series?
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 dude really cant hit a ball in the air to save his life
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Vlad pitch selection man. jesus christ. Goes up there guessing, on a consistent basis
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Author Posted September 7, 2022 Bunch a wetawds bugs?!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Yeah Merrifield should not ever be starting at 2B for this team. Occasional CF start when Springer needs rest and that’s it
Floortom Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 22nd in the majors in bringing in guys from 3rd base is better than I thought. I really assumed we were bottom 2 or 3
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Vlad looking so close. Hitting the ball in the air and solid contact. Just needs to barrel it up more. Probably shouldn't have given himself up on the ground ball in the 2nd ab, but the adjustments they have made i think will start showing positive results

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Ok so Merryweather is getting some silly swings right now. Nice
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Bet the Blue Jays now. +330 odds! That’s outrageous lol
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I would love for you to be right but Vlad hasn’t figured out the launch angle thing all year They were discussing it Sunday I believe. His bat angle just before he swings has changed from last year (more of an angle) and its causing the ground balls along with a more closed step than open (last year). Today it looks like he is more off the plate as well which i believe he was last season They have also been working on hitting the low pitches in the air more
keggy Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 If Kikuchi pitches well in relief tonight he might be in line for White's spot in the rotation.

I really assumed we were bottom 2 or 3 Well, the more the opportunities, the more the variance falls in line, same goes for GIDP's, etc... just noise. It's a f***ing luck stat, as many others.
