We beat up Wheeler, we beat up the righty on the mound in 2nd game against KC (16 hits), we are having tight games against LH Starters with a changeup.

 

For the majority of the season, we only faced righties.

 

That should tell you why.

Probably because the expectation of this team was to be elite offensively, not just good.

 

A lot of the main guys have gone backwards from last year so it seems pretty straight forward as to why people aren't happy. Also doesn't help the Yankees are where we'd hoped to be in the standings (ok maybe not that far ahead but still).

Often it seems like the hits come when there are already 2 outs which makes sustained rally’s difficult.

Offense is down a bit and it seems they don't hit the pitchers you think they should.

 

Like this week left handed s*** ballers have held us to 1 or 2 runs.

 

They hit Wheeler, Grienke and the hard throwing right handed KC reliever hard.

 

I remember they hit Bieber hard in a double header then got shut down by a s*** baller in the second game of the double header.

 

Beat Cole and Verlander early in the season but lost games I thought they should win.

 

I don't know. Maybe just selective memory but some of the big offense games seem to come agains good pitchers, while you sit down for a 14-3 against a s*** baller and they are losing 2-1 in the seventh before you know it.

I'm good with firing Atkins as well.. He can't even fire coaches properly. The guy is useless.
