Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 === The Blue Jays will have Kevin Gausman take the mound for the 19th time of the season to open the series. Gausman exited after tossing two scoreless innings against the Rays in his latest action in a game the Jays lost on July 2nd. He only missed one start after taking a line drive off his ankle. The veteran right-hander is having a marvelous season in his first year with the Jays, sporting a 2.86 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP complemented by a 6-6 record in 88 innings of work. Gausman allowed five runs in 3.1 innings in his only career meeting against the Royals. KC Royals will send Andrew Zerpa to face the Blue Jays on a short rest as he pitched 2 innings of relief three days ago against the Tigers. During this outing, his first in the majors, he looked sharp allowing only 1 hit and no runs while facing 7 batters. The Royals will be without the majority of their major league roster when in Toronto having moved ten players and three coaches to the restricted list. Tonight, there will be at least two major league debuts in Nick Pratto and Nate Eaton. === Lets go Jays! Schneider Era is upon us! Danny Jansen is online!
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Nick Pratto: 130 wRC+, .858 OPS, 337 PA AAA || Currently riding a hot-streak in minors: 179 wRC+, 6 HRs across 20 games. Nate Eaton: 157 wRC+, .979 OPS, 165 PA AAA Considering the rest of their lineup (below), I am quite scared (and excited) for their debuts. Though Gausman's splitter might be a rude awakening lol. Olivares: 120 wRC+, .737 OPS Witt Jr: 105 wRC+, .740 OPS Rivera: 92 wRC+, .709 OPS Pasquatino: 87 wRC+, .627 OPS Lopez: 64 wRC+, .574 OPS O'Hearn: 30 wRC+, .467 OPS Rivero: -58 wRC+, .125 OPS, 8 PA Majors

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Lucky… that could have been 1-0 and 0 outs
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Thank you BABIP gods First hit tipped KC’s way, 2nd one ours lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Good to see Gausman back on the mound. We need a big second half from him.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 I wouldn’t be against Kirk hitting Second. But Vladdy in the 2-hole is probably the best option. Bo definitely needed to be moved down.
Blazeit420 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Vlad is now tied for 2nd in the MLB in GIDP with 14.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Fire Schneider this lineup sucks
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Fire Schneider this lineup sucks Technically, if it was Montoyo's lineup: Springer walks, Bo walks, Vladdy DPs (Springer at 3rd), Kirk singles - so we score a run.

You know Montoyo also wanted Vlad to hit Second but since he was such a bitch and Vlad preferred hitting Third so he just went ahead and did what Vlad wanted.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 They are getting some good contact on Kevin Gausman has been giving up a lot of hits this season. Luckily most of them are singles

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Is this an Apple TV game or something? I can't find a working stream.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Can't throw it down the middle
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Is this an Apple TV game or something? I can't find a working stream. Nah MLB broadcast in general is having an issue for multiple games; I am just watching the Royals stream right now.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Bentendo would really compliment this lineup. Little disappointed he’s not an option because of the mandate but respect his personal decision. The important thing is it rules him out for our division rivals as well.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Yup rude awakening for the minor leaguers with that splitter
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Is this an Apple TV game or something? I can't find a working stream. Use the away feed here Brando... the home one is down. https://mlb66.ir/simulator

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Not much good contact through 2
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Outmatched by Zepra Angel Zerpa... I own this Mofo in a 30 team league.
