No one in this GDT cause they can't bitch and cry, sad really. :D

Lol, I was just going to post about that. They can't even say anything nice when we are doing well. Sad indeed.

Hey hey hey I was busy losing a softball game.

As much as it is nice to see the offense get going and pull off a laugher; it is hard for people to just forget the last few weeks of frustration. The good (actually excellent) news is that this team is still above 500 and poised to eventually make a run that can put them in a solid position going forward.

Sorry, it's taken me a few hours to digest what happened in today's game lol.

This is only the 3rd game where we've scored 8 runs or more with the first being on opening night. Clearly it's hard to get overly excited about the level of offensive suckage we've seen this year.

Was a great game; lots to be excited about.

Daunting 4 games coming up with Angels and then WSox & Twins (before we finally get some breathing room); we need to come out of that unscathed and keep improving the patience/hitting of this team.

Hopefully that HR is the beginning of a barrage from Vlad finally, Jansen might win most improved player of the year if he stays healthy. Gausman good as always

I don't understand what you are trying to say there! The Jays' offense has been largely piss-poor since their solid 16-10 start to the season. That they are still 3 games above 500 since then is largely attributable to solid starting pitching and just enough BP proficiency to seal some wins. BUT, as I already said, they are in a decent spot with 119 games left to play, so no reason they they can not get this train rolling and be a solid contender for the post-season. With this much time left in the season and the Damn Yankees only 7 games ahead (after a ridiculously hot start to the season), I do not rule out winning the AL East. How far behind the Tigers were the Jays in 1984 (Orwell?) at this point in the season?

Holy s***, dude... I'm clearly joking in that tag. Or do you mean my initial post? I'm fully aware about the woeful offence lately, and agree about the rest, I'm talking about the douchebag trolls that basically only post in these GDT's, or should I say vent verbal diarrhea threads ...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's no denying people post less when the Jays are winning, it's quite apparent.

OK that's fine.

BTW: I just looked it up:

after 43 games in 1984 the Tigers were 35-8 and the Jays were 28-14 (6.5 GB). Notice the Jays with only 32 decisions in 33 games. A May game against Cleveland was declared a tie apparently......

I went to bed after Jano's first dinger. That game was DRAGGING and I was exhausted :P
