Really get a kick out of posters ridiculing Pat Tabler ; life time batting average .282 … from posters who have never played one game in MLB.

Haven't seen anyone disparaging his playing career. As a broadcaster if you watch a lot of games, he becomes repetitive.

Meanwhile, BAL throws Judge a slider right down the middle for his 2nd HR of the game to tie it lol

Ya. I think we are all done with "the ball" as any excuse for this current Jay's offensive debacle.

I just looked him up. Career 100 wRC+ as a 1B/OF who never hit 2 fWAR in his 10+ years in the MLB. So yah...

Very good swings from Vlad tonight. 106 and 107.5 MPH

He has always hit it hard this season (typically); needs to tweak his launch angle again.

He was at an allstar game once I think. Also if you check his liftetime average with the bases loaded it is a sight to behold.

So strike out looking...would be much better right lmao

Yes it would tbh. Don't swing at s*** until you have 2 strikes. At that point fight off pitches on the edges until you get a hanger or middle heater that makes your eyes light up.

There's a difference between hitting it hard and driving it into the ground and hitting it hard and it goes 90 feet before it hits the ground. Vlad deserved a hit there. Bad luck.

He's walked and that was a strike.

Yes but can you make it good contact with a pitch in that spot? Maybe instead, especially with a hitter as talented as Vladdy, he meets the ball late and fouls it off, until he gets something he can damage.

Its been a week or 2. Very good plate discipline the last couple of days, then very hard hit balls tonight, next step in the progressions is getting the rockets in the air

ya no that was def a good play Edman on that.

Either way, Berrios is dealing pretty well. Glad he's settling in.

Why not it's on the plate? I'm not worried about Vlad.

Good job Chapman, missed that meatball but didn't swing at the junk. Decent AB.

How is Chapman missing 93 and 92 right down the middle 3-1 and 3-2? So odd. Late on 92. Nice BB laying off the slider full count.

That should be Kirk's second hit, but Arenado robbed his fat ass in the 2nd. :P

Vlad scorches it and it's an out. Teo laces one right at a guy. It's an out. .620 and .610 expected BA. Kick beats one into the ground and finds a hole with an expected BA of .160. That's baseball folks..lol
