Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Knew it was gone off the bat. *sighs*
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Awesome offense...outplayed by the Reds lmao
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Good, suck it Yimi you bum You think Montoyo uses him less? He'll double down and give him more opportunities to build his confidence back up
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 We had our golden opportunities but as usual, squandered them.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 "Early" is getting awfully late. These bats really need to wake the f*** up.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Leave it to the jays to make the reds look like a half decent team
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Leave it to the jays to make the reds look like a half decent team Jays won this series
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 'Strength of schedule' argument somewhat falls short when we can't do damage against the worst, tbh.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Author Posted May 22, 2022 Next 3 series, Cards, Angels and Whitesox...
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Jays won this series And if you look at their entire body of work for the month? Are you still as cheery about it?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 This is actually the most overrated offence of all time
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Next 3 series, Cards, Angels and Whitesox... Can't wait for the sadness
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 And if you look at their entire body of work for the month? Are you still as cheery about it? who said I was cheery? just stating a fact.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 'Strength of schedule' argument somewhat falls short when we can't do damage against the worst, tbh. Game is not over. Just feels like it. 6 outs. But winning a series against any MLB team is always solid. What kills are series like the one losing 3/4 to CLE.
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Next 3 series, Cards, Angels and Whitesox... After that they'll be under .500 where they belong, they've been extremely fortunate to even be where they're at record wise
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Next 3 series, Cards, Angels and Whitesox... 6 runs total on 9 hits in all those games combined
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 These guys are so much better than this and that’s what makes it so frustrating.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 5 outs. Teo swings at ball 6-8 inches outside for dribbler to 1B. Brutal.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 who said I was cheery? just stating a fact. Now let's build on that fact and get to what it really means? They've given up 1, 1, and 3 runs in the past 3 games... And are on that verge of not sweeping the Reds. Do we feel good about the offense scoring 7 runs against the Reds and winning 2?
el duque Verified Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Chapman has the incredible ability of not swinging at pitches in the middle of the plate but then doing it at those out of the strike zone
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Chapman has the incredible ability of not swinging at pitches in the middle of the plate but then doing it at those out of the strike zone Following Gameday but did it look a foot outside in real time?
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 It's starting to look like this lineup is better with Zimmer in it than Tacostar, god these guys all suck...
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Fire everyone but Pete and Schneider
