Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Chapman is the difference between Ryu getting killed and looking alright. While his bat has sucked, his defense cannot be understated.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Vladdy inching closer and closer to 2020 GB%
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Chapman is the difference between Ryu getting killed and looking alright. While his bat has sucked, his defense cannot be understated. That was tremendous execution by ryu getting a really weak ground ball. Don't sell him short. He did his part.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Why is Dante Bichette in the stands and not back helping the team dammit!?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Why is Dante Bichette in the stands and not back helping the team dammit!? Lazy boomers
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Watching the Jays bat right now is so painful.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 That was probably a great play, but the TV didn't bother to show most of it...
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 See, Bichette makes great plays like that every once in a while and then you think he can be a good shortstop. Then he boots 2 easy groundballs in a row and you remember what he truly is
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Not a bad outing from Ryu, all things considered. Hopefully we can string together a decent outing from the pen now. And, y'know, maybe score one or two more runs...
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Hope so … can’t stand another loss .
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Someone has put a curse on this team. Charlie is banging a Haitian broad
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Hey Springer... thats how you catch a ball going back without having to jump lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 AGAIN. Are you f***ing kidding me. 1500 feet of warning track flyballs this game
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Kinda feels like the universe is against Toronto right now 310 foot homers for the other team 400 foot outs for the Jays
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Its becoming a sick joke at this point
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 409', .830 xBA. HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO THIS TEAM!?
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Is this now the Jays mantra ‘Close but not enough ,’ ?
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Someone has put a curse on this team. Charlie is banging a Haitian broad
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 That was tremendous execution by ryu getting a really weak ground ball. Don't sell him short. He did his part. He did for sure. What I meant was that last year we had Biggio there screwing up a lot of these balls or just unable to make those plays. Helps make the pitching staff look good and keep their numbers down.
