Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 91 down the middle....such a terrible pitch to the strikeout king
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Stripling just lurching through these innings …. Looks very , very hittable
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 not when you're trailing, you don't run into an out. And the odds are that you're not running into an out there. Just wasn't executed. I take that risk in that situation every time.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Hopefully we’re not back to our 2 run limit. Let’s go!
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Author Posted May 7, 2022 And the odds are that you're not running into an out there. Just wasn't executed. I take that risk in that situation every time. Also it's early, so defintely worth the risk.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 It's incredible how many of you act like losing a game here or there that they should have won is no big deal after missing the playoffs by 1 game last year So, maybe you do not understand how social interactions work, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Yes. It sucks when we lose. Yes. It sucks when we lose a lot, games we should be winning. Yes. It is okay to feel bad about it and share the misery. No. It is not okay to constantly berate players and overemphasize the negatives. No. It is not fun reading comments like that and no one appreciates you or your input if that is all you have to say. More importantly, and this is the clincher, no matter how much you hate what you are seeing, we (this forum group) have no power to change anything - so all you are doing is making the experience even worse for everyone. --- If your life hangs on the balance of baseball games, where depending on how your team does influences your mind-state to the point that you have to come on a forum and incessantly bitch about it, to literally no avail ('cause again, we can't do anything about it), then you need to reevaluate your life/go to a therapist.

ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Ryu got lit up in AAA. We have a big problem with him.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Author Posted May 7, 2022 Ryu got lit up in AAA. We have a big problem with him. He gave up 5 runs but 3 were unearned.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Author Posted May 7, 2022 How does Reyes play the OF. He moves like a pregnant yak out there.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Oh well, wouldn’t matter much anyway with Zimmer up.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Why in the holy hell is Zimmer playing; this is unreal.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 why waste any pitches on Zimmer, 3 straight ones will do.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Come on now. What is Zimmer doing on this team taking up 12 empty ABs a week?.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 At this point, its not even Zimmer that I am irate at, its Charlie for continuing to run him out there
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 4 runs in 4 innings is not exactly doing your job
Signal Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I know that they are behind, but the offense has looked better today. The Jays look more disciplined at the plate and are hitting the ball hard or getting their walks. Not a ton of strikeouts in either game. Jays offense looks like it is coming around. P.S. They could look better on the bases though.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 At this point, its not even Zimmer that I am irate at, its Charlie for continuing to run him out there Charlie? This is all on Shatkins.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Author Posted May 7, 2022 At this point, its not even Zimmer that I am irate at, its Charlie for continuing to run him out there This past couple of weeks may be the worst stretch of ab's I've ever seen from a Blue Jay.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 At this point, its not even Zimmer that I am irate at, its Charlie for continuing to run him out there Team trading Grichuk. Team brought in Zimmer, Tapia, and kept Biggio on the roster
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Yup , why would Montoya keep playing him ? It’s just not happening for Zimmer … feel kinda sorry for him , but you have to produce at this level …. and he is DEFINITELY not.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Team could end it with a DFA. Not Charlie
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Team trading Grichuk. Grichuk didn't want to be the 4th. wheel
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Grichuk didn't want to be the 4th. wheel A lot of players feel the same. They don’t normally get favors. No bonus points for being “good guys” to Randal F’n Grichuk
