Maybe they can front load the Ray/Semien contracts or offer signing bonuses to keep some money in reserve for Vladdy/Bo extensions when the time comes. I just hope they can find a way to keep both as this team should be a powerhouse for years if both are re-signed.

Jays actually have a better 3/4 man post season rotation than the Rays would have. Don't think that's been the case in a very long time.

Agreed. Would be amazing. The payroll is so low for next year they can certainly afford it. And yes, Bo and Vlad's paydays can wait.

 

I want both to stay. I have more confidence that they'll be able to keep Ray than Semien. But we'll see.
