Yeah I’m a little surprised that mlbpa seemingly rolled over for this. I wouldn’t be happy if I was in TB’s camp

Nope can't imagine so. There are two options at this point

Discipline from the league or Dodgers

No discipline from the league or Dodgers

The MLBPA might NOT be going to bat for him.

They represent the players generally. Unions don't always help all individuals in the union.

Yeah I can totally get why MLB wants to kick the can down the road, but pretty sure mlbpa has to sign off if I’m not mistaken

Dodger players voiced last year that they did not want him around.

IMO if he is not traded he will sit.

Reliable sources say.....

Red flag #1 in journalism

I don't remember a single Dodger attaching their name to anything like that

Apparently that’s the only explanation really

Oh. Yeah I guess that’s the other side of it. If he’s ok with paid vacation

He doesn't have to be ok with it if they release him.

If they release him, it won’t be with cause. So it’s still a paid vacation and if he wants to play, it’ll be for league Min

They don't need any cause if they want to release him.

I just meant if they released him, he’s still get paid in full

Well obviously. I expect that they will trade him, but they may release him if they are not able to find a dance partner.

If Bauer is released and signs with a team in the NPB can he earn both contracts? Or would it still follow the same rules as if he were to sign with an MLB team?

I truly dont understand how so many of you defend this s*** head. Have none of you seen the pics? MLB isnt a courtroom, he f***ed.

Bauer claims the pics were staged. Injuries that happened after their encounters. You can call bs, but there’s evidence there that suggests it was a setup for a payday, so at the very least- believe neither of them

I think if she had been able to prove that he inflicted that damage the DA would have pursued charges.

I get how his experience has coloured his view of this stuff, but still. There's no need to open your mouth about it if, as you openly admit, you don't know.

Bauer's tweet is true according to fWAR, RA9WAR, and I believe rWAR, yet this has 450 likes and no pushback. Baseball twitter might be the most pathetic twitter.

I really hope he wins.

Interesting suit. He doesn’t specify damages, just asks for what the court deems appropriate, along with his own legal fees.

Im no lawyer, but he hasn’t actually suffered any monetary damages yet, just reputation. How does a jury determine what his reputation damage is worth if he hasn’t suffered any actual monetary damages?

Is Jim a pansy or did someone erase his post?

I’d like to know what was said
