Need to watch better. Hit Mcguire's glove on all 3 homers. 1 of which was 6 inches off the plate. Problem was it was all on offspeed pitches which might have been questionable pitch selections. He gave up 1 other hit and that pitch was also off the plate. It amounted to bad pitch calling and good hitting on pitches that weren't bad, but weren't great.

Now his velocity was down a little and he had a few issues with the mound it appeared and he got hit by a line drive

Overall a solid outing with areas that need improvement

That was NOT, a solid outing.

At this point we pretty much know that McGuire is a s***** hitter, so so defense and weak pitch calling. I hope that his time is coming to an end soon

Unbelievable.... These Umps are just brutal..

Instead of 2 on with Semien up we're out of the inning.

Looks like Lopez might only get 5 innings in tonight. How's this s*** team's pen?

Meh, till maybe Yimi Garcia, even then we can get to him.

Whoever said that Manoah hit his spots on all the HRs was correct. Bad game calling.

I don't understand why Rogers is in love with Tabler, he makes the broadcast awful. It's time to change this broadcast up, Keep Shulman and Buck/Tabby only part time.

I believe Shulman's calling basketball for ESPN Radio, we'll see him after the NBA work.

It was. He wasn't pitching bad

You're correct mostly. The studio replay on the HRs showed that all of them hit the spot Reese was setup for. The only question is whether Reese called those pitchers or Manoah shook to them.

Additionally, Manoah was more wild today than last start and his velo was down to the low 90s from the mid-90s last night.

I agreed with what you wrote, until the Solid Outing part, I'm being a pedant, I never said he was bad.

God forbid Charlie ever get a little upset at a call man. Just sits in his hands all game. Show some emotion.

I wish we had a good manager instead of Charlie.. Can't believe that we're stuck with him for now

Mostly concerned about the dip in velocity more than anything

I don't even need him to get thrown out. Just do something other than sit on your hands ALL GAME

That grinds my gears, it ends up Walker doing Chuckles job.

Yep. Velocity down and slider command wasn't good. Needs to clean up the slider for sure

So it comes down to how we define solid. Which of course we disagree lol
