This would be hard to find, but I wonder how many players have hit home runs to all fields in 3 consecutive at-bats.

Looked for a few minutes but found this one:

Nelson Cruz hit 3 against Lucas Giolito in 2019 in his first 3 at bats of the game to LF-CF-Right center

I feel like this is a turning point in the season, kinda like 2015 game vs Scherzer where Pillar hit 2 HR and sparked a winning streak. Just got this feeling that the offense is gonna catch fire, especially with Springer and Teo about to return

I hope/feel you're correct.

Oh man...so glad I placed that $1000 bet on Scherzer giving up 5 ER in 5 innings and Vlad hitting 3 home runs and having 7 RBI's. Guess I can retire now... f***...

Seriously though...wonder what that s*** would have paid off?

I checked anyone young with more than 8 home runs on the season and none of them even hit 2, so I'm not sure that their stats are correct. Vlad might be the youngest player ever to do it.

He is.

Crazy when it was 3-0. We thought we were all going to be talking about Trea Turner’s special night. And then Vladdy just decided to take over.

MLB Network radio this morning it was the lead story. They talked about Vlad and all his statcast metrics and approach and conditioning for almost 20 minutes.

So close to a Home-Run cycle. Never been done. A-Rod had the best shot at it. He had the slam, the three-run, and the two-run, bomb by the 4th inning. Couldn't get the solo. Vladdy needed a three-run. Still - a long career ahead hopefully and plenty of time. Let's start tomorrow. :)

The closest anyone has ever come to the home run cycle was actually Edwin Encarnacion. On August 29, 2015 against the Detroit Tigers, Edwin hit a 2-run homer, a 3-run homer and a Grand Slam. He would have lead off the 9th inning but because it was a blow out he didn't get that plate appearance.

The next day, on August 30, 2015, he hit a solo home run in the 1st inning, his first plate appearance of the game.
