So I guess Biggio is good again?

1.559 OPS since returning from injury.

He never was bad. He just started the season slow and was fighting through an injury.

Good. No need to act like a lunatic on the field like that towards your team.

Charlie Montoyo following the loss:

"We don’t need to be frustrated. We’re playing good games, losing games like this. They’re tough, yes, but we’re playing good.”

I can't stand this guy. These quotes aggravate me.

Vlad sitting in the dugout for several minutes post-game yesterday clearly frustrated, and we have this loser with comments like this. Unbelievable

I saw that with Vlad, but I think he was hard on himself for being caught at 3rd, but that plat was just hard luck, not to mention I believe he was safe, sure looked like it. Yeah, Charlie's an idiot.

The obsession with Charlie Montoyo's emotions is a bit much. As much as you guys want to see him red faced and screaming, him getting angry probably doesn't help the team win. It's kind of an infantile form of leadership anyway.

You could make a contrary argument that would be just as reasonable, actually.

How about having someone in charge who doesn't get rattled by bad luck and the stuff he cannot control? That's a good thing. There's merit to Charlie's approach.

I don't get riled up by his comments myself, but he riles me up in games at times, bigly. Settle down Wilner.

I liked seeing him drop F-bombs the other day, though. He needs to show more emotion, on controversial plays or stick up for his guys once in a while, f***, I see Walker do it far more than Chuckles. He's certainly a players manager I'm assuming, running the clubhouse, etc...

We should probably be trying to extend Semien right about now. I'd go as high as like 3 years $60M to get ahead of the market on him.

I’d imagine $100m starts a conversation

Sounds like he likes being a blue Jay and hearing his wife cheering him on,wait till they hit Roger's centre/skydome

Supposing they sign him,do they trade biggio for pitching ?

I see Nate Jones was DFA'd, if he would pass through, I wouldn't mind seeing a minor league deal on him. See if we can fix him.

The 35 year old?

How do the Jays stack up compared to the rest of MLB team as it pertains to man games lost due to injury? I'm curious how many other teams have been crushed like our team.

If you don't sign him, I think it makes sense to trade him. The comp pick isn't good enough, and we're not in our window yet.

They are a few games back of a playoff spot right now and trying to win this year, lol. He's not getting traded unless they lose like twenty in a row right now

They're not winning much this year. It's fun to see them on the cusp. Shatkins should still be in maximizing asset management mode.

You don't sign George Springer because you are in asset collection mode. They'll be looking to buy at the deadline unless they go on a massive losing streak soon

Springer is a long term signing. If Shatkins thought this was a win now year, then they are delusional. I assume they are being objective about where the Jays are on the curve. I guess if they want to cater to the fanbase instead of thinking long term they might be in buy mode. But this isn't the year.
