They were talking about when they had all those positive cases on the team. Players were stuck quarantined in the hotel for like a week with none of their s*** other than clothes. Jack Flaherty practiced by putting up a mattress against the wall and throwing into it.

Because of the inadequacies of seeding? Not sure, but I find it refreshing. Use your whole lineup.

It also prevents teams from using their 2-3 best BP arms in every game and avoiding the rest

 

It makes it more like the regular season and tests your whole roster more
