Villar leading off.

I... I just can't even process that.

Both Biggio and LGJ with a day off? Guess they feel they can't catch the Pinstripes...

If those guys are banged up they defintely shouldnt be trying to push them just to face the elite White Sox lineup.

Regardless, this lineup should be able to handle Lopez.

I don’t want to face the Rays in the first round.

They’re just one game ahead of the Astros, and sweeping the Orioles in Buffalo is very doable.

Cant say we never gave Villar a real shot with the club lol

in 19 games with the Jays, he has a 38 wRC+

It was a fine addition at the cost, but it has not panned out, and we don't need to compound that by batting him leadoff.

Agreed but clearly we're in the "rest our guys" mode to make sure they're all healthy before the playoffs.

Think its a good decision to rest up and not over extend anyone. Just build some guys up and try out some things in case of an emergency.

If Jays and Yanks finish season tied who finishes 2nd in the division? They are even 5-5 in the season series. What's next tiebreaker?
