What is the MLB record for most Runs allowed in 3 game series?

Anyone know what the MLB record is for runs allowed over a 3 game series, can't seem to find it anywhere. I would imagine 43 runs has to be at least a Franchise record, wonder what the MLB record is?

I know the HRs were the most in any series (4 game too) by one team. Think they came up few short of run record for 3 games

Who gives a f***, the Yankees were mediocre for an entire month if not more and then they happened to get perfectly healthy just in time to face the Jays and they had their literal best rotation vs our worst, the outcome was pretty predictable.

I don't think anybody predicted double-digit runs for the Yanks all 3 games. Our rotation has been absolute dogshit for the last couple weeks aside from Ryu.

I guess the good news is it is likely to get better because it can't get much worse.

 

On MLB Network they said the record for one team in a 3 game series was the Red Sox scoring 56 total against the St Louis Browns in 1950 with scores of 20-4, 29-4 and 7-12. Actually, on air they incorrectly said it was against the Cards , which had me wondering but sure enough was versus the AL Browns
