Absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t be trying to add to this lineup. The cost are going to be low. Obviously you don’t move any top prospect for a short term move. I think its a situation where you toss AAAA player or 2 eat some salary and get some more talent on your roster. The bottom of the lineup and bench is just awful.

He's expiring.......they most likely will lose him and get nothing. I get he's an amazing player, but it's a month..lol. You're probably right though. It's likely a big ask. Looking at the Phillies, Gregorius might be setting sites a bit lower and he's expiring. We just need the phillies to lose a few more.

A useful infield bat like Wilmer Flores, Asdrubal Cabrera, or Tommy La Stella could really help this team without costing a lot.

I don’t see the Phillies quitting. NL East kinda sucks this year. I would not be shocked if the Yankees went after him. Gary Sanchez has been awful at the plate and has always sucked defensively also has an extensive injury history. Could see them chasing that move for a chance to win it all.
