bronson44 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 why the f*** was he so shallow?
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Can we just forfeit this game already??
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Toescar looks lost out there.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 This is starting to remind me of that Cardinal and Braves playoff game.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 What a buzzkill after the win in the first game. Thornton better not start another game when Hatch and Kay are in the pen.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 why the f*** was he so shallow? After 3 bloop hits to shallow OF. They moved in and 2 Warning Track Fly Balls became hits.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hit the sticks boys, one run per inning all we need
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 The Phillies better lose every fly ball in the OF as well.
M.E. Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Alford DFA = 7 runs given up in the 1st. That seems worth it. ;-(
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Unless we come back, this game could kill our pen. Might have to get Panik to pitch the remaining innings
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 They couldn’t have possibly sent in a worse starter, could they?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Let Wags and Yamaguchi finish this game. Don't use anyone good.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Biggio is perfect for leadoff
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Let Wags and Yamaguchi finish this game. Don't use anyone good. Montoyo will warm up Bass if we cut the lead to 5.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Biggio at bats just make me happy. Feels like he's always in a hitter count.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Did they say the Mets-Marlins game is cancelled? I can't find it listed anywhere else.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Did they say the Mets-Marlins game is cancelled? I can't find it listed anywhere else. Yup
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Did they say the Mets-Marlins game is cancelled? I can't find it listed anywhere else. Yup someone on the Mets tested positive for Covid apparently.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Rowdy takes a pitch down the middle, swings at the borderline. Typical.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Alford DFA = 7 runs given up in the 1st. That seems worth it. ;-( Makes me so mad. It was nice having Alford’s speed on the bench. Now we have bench with no hitters and no speed. Drury and Panik are good defenders at 1 position and mediocre everywhere else. Disaster roster management.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 When he hits them, he hits them far
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 5 runs to go let’s f***ing go
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 There we go just keep chipping at it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 We may lose this game but with Vince Velasquez and his propensity to give up homeruns on the mound the game is far from being a sure thing.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 5 run deficit is not so bad.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 I don't understand Hernandez. He's mind boggling.
