Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Yamaguchi was the catalyst that this team needed. Do you think this effort will be good enough to sell him back to Japan?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Vlad finally did something, that didnt look particularly hard hit though Which really just speaks to how much natural strength and ability he has that he can hit a ball 400 ft to RF-CF without even taking his best swing.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Author Posted August 13, 2020 Yamaguchi was the catalyst that this team needed And this forum never doubted him for one minute
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Come on Tellez one time for the homies back in Sacramento!
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Vlad finally did something, that didnt look particularly hard hit though Exit Velocity < 100, but launch angle was very good.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 how did grichuk not make it home.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Lol at that being a double but I will take it!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 The one time you're begging for windmill Rivera and he holds Grichuk.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Grichuk not scoring on that play is going to come back and haunt us isn’t it.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Cervelli is kind of a f***ing clown
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 The one time you're begging for windmill Rivera and he holds Grichuk. There's no reason for Grichuk not scoring on that play....just another mistake to add to the pile.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Exit Velocity < 100, but launch angle was very good. Serious back spin gave it carry.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Cervelli is kind of a f***ing clown 95 MPH in the ribs would be appropriate.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 I'm liking the look of Borucki.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Author Posted August 13, 2020 We have the middle of order coming up next inning. Anything is possible
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 How did he foul that off what a f***er!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Well, at least the ump is consistently horrible.
Ray Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Wilmer Font in high leverage would not be a good managerial decision.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Borucki - 18 batters faced, 11 strikeouts 1 hit, 2 walks, 0 ER
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Borucki is good. Been saying that on this board for 3 years.... Mostly fell on deaf ears.....
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 3b Anderson over Shaw X 1000 Vilar is one of the better SS 1B Aguilar is a season removed from 35 hrs Alcantra is really good (COVID) E Hernandez is good and up and coming. Had a small blip last night. Caleb Smith is decent LF Corey Dickerson has been a consistently good bat. They have a LOT of on the cusp or up and coming young players.. Pitchers and positions players. They kind remind me of the Red Sox the year they really sucked, but you could see the talent emerging.. Then the next year they went to the playoffs.. Wow!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Two kicks at the can, let's do this.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Been saying that on this board for 3 years.... Mostly fell on deaf ears..... Take that victory lap, CD. You know best!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Borucki with that 61.1 K% Borucki - 18 batters faced, 11 strikeouts 1 hit, 2 walks, 0 ER
