Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Seeing Max on the mound often reminds me of that game in 2015 when fking Pillar hit 2 HRs off of him in that win. I think that was when I realized we might win that year and play post season ball lol. The Tomahawk dinger, lol.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Now we have to piece together 4 innings of relief.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 More of that splitter Dolis. That was filthy.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 That was a great outing to watch by Morrow. One ball snuck by or off of Hill on a tough chance I think...one of the best games ive seen pitched. Yeah. That game was magical. Verlander's no hitter against us was amazing. The bastard was throwing 101 to 102 in the 9th inning. Randy Johnson's perfect game at age 40 was fun. Roger Clemens had a high strikeout game for us that was amazing to watch too, but I can't remember the exact total. 18 maybe? Roy Halladay's near no-hitter in his second game. Halladay's 10 inning, 99 pitch game. I think those are the ones I remember best.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Dolis looked really good that inning
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 What a debut for Pearson. Went pitch for pitch with Scherzer!!!! Got even better as the game went on
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Dolis actually throwing the splitter well
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Shame we don't have Tabby for the "Thames is a big strong man" commentary.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Dolis looked really good that inning Pretty sure that's the guy the FO thought they were signing. Great movement on all his pitches and the splitter tunnels extremely well with his fastball.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Max Scherzer is throwing 5 plus-plus pitches. God damn he's good and so much fun to watch.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Author Posted July 29, 2020 Nice job Dolis. Sweet! We never doubted him
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Sammy G coming in soon. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

I think it was 20, Clemens got 21 in Boston, he might've matched 21, his pitcher scoe was still beat by Morrow though.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 f***ing Gaveelio. Realistically, he or Yamaguchi should have been in for the 6th for a couple of innings. This is where you need someone to eat a few innings and hope they don't suck too badly...
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Those bottom off-the-plate strikes were sliders.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 hopefully gavilgio can get give an inning or two
