Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 That AB was unfair. Nasty changeup followed by gross slider.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Hes getting confident. And that’s scary for other teams lol
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Sure, ideal time to get f***ing Dolis up and warming...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Twins in his debut I think. Yes, good call.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Everything about Pearson screams Ace
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Those sliders are straight filth.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 yeah the Airport is dealing but lets warmup Dolis in the 5th. f***in Charlie
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 I like when Buck analyzes pitcher's this way during the game. Mechanics, being a bit early, body language, etc... It's good.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 yeah the Airport is dealing but lets warmup Dolis in the 5th. f***in Charlie This isn't Charlie's call. Every starter has been on a short pitch count early in the season.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Not at 99 but yea in the regular season Price was painting 96-97 at times. Morrow is the right call. When Morrow was on he was absolutely disgusting. I will never forget that 17k 1 Hitter against the Rays. Easily the greatest game I have ever seen pitched Live. That was a great outing to watch by Morrow. One ball snuck by or off of Hill on a tough chance I think...one of the best games ive seen pitched.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Pearson has 4 pitches working tonight, that's pretty awesome for a 23 year old in his MLB debut.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Author Posted July 29, 2020 I'm gonna go off on a limb and say Pearson's breaking stuff is just as good as his fastball
labadee Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 i like Buck there, good analysis on the last sequence of pitches. Knew what Danny Janssen would call for in that situation. Great outing for Pearson
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Montoyo pushed Ryu pretty hard in the opening game, but otherwise has taken starters out pretty quickly due to the abbreviated camp. Dolis probably coming in to start the 6th.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 If that's the outing...hell of a job, although I think he benefitted from Nats not throwing Bonafacio into the order.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Jansen's calling a good game for him too. Robles couldn't time Pearson at all. Jansen is like a grizzled veteran behind the plate, the pitchers have to love throwing to him.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 This isn't Charlie's call. Every starter has been on a short pitch count early in the season. Nah I get it I'm just selfishly wanting this amazing duel to continue. The thought of it being ruined by Dolis sucks chode
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Nah I get it I'm just selfishly wanting this amazing duel to continue. The thought of it being ruined by Dolis sucks chode lol... Yes it does!
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Ideal debut for Nate Pearson. Readings tonight: FB 94-98, T99 SL 82-87 CU 88-99 CB 76-77
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 i like Buck there, good analysis on the last sequence of pitches. Knew what Danny Janssen would call for in that situation. Great outing for Pearson Agreed, I enjoyed that. He should do that more instead of talking to people like we're all 8 year olds.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Seeing Max on the mound often reminds me of that game in 2015 when fking Pillar hit 2 HRs off of him in that win. I think that was when I realized we might win that year and play post season ball lol.
el duque Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 I just tun on my TV and what a great game I was missing, it seems I will get Dolis and not Pearson
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 I'm gonna go off on a limb and say Pearson's breaking stuff is just as good as his fastball He's had an 80 FB. His slider is very good, but it's not an 80.
John Balkabella Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Self isolating standing O for Pearson.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 BP in to lose the game nice start from pearson
