saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Keegan Matheson @KeeganMatheson Hyun-Jin Ryu today: 5 IP - 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K 59 pitches - 40 strikes Ryu then threw about a dozen more pitches on the side. #BlueJays I'm so excited we signed Ryu. I can't wait for opening day.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 I didn’t realize the rebuild was over. Plan the parade route boys!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 I don't know...seems pretty fat to me. Meh, just has to stay behind the dish and DH.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 That look on Jansen's face was priceless...Man this is going to be fun this year. That pitch from Roark wasn't even a bad pitch. Up and on the outer half of the plate. He might have wanted it up a couple inches, but Kirk was all over it. Kirk is a MLB hitter today, let alone in 2 years from now.
Ray Verified Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 That Ryu curveball may have been better than any pitch any of our pitchers threw last season. Only a slight over-exaggeration

It's a terrible pitch when you're Tanner Roark and have an 18th percentile fastball spin rate!
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 That Ryu curveball may have been better than any pitch any of our pitchers threw last season. Only a slight over-exaggeration Stroman would call you a racist for that quote.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 So who's still not in camp? I haven't seen the below mentioned yet. - Manoah - Zeuch - Murphy - Luciano - Adams
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 That Ryu curveball may have been better than any pitch any of our pitchers threw last season. Only a slight over-exaggeration + Ryu’s changeup was one of the most valuable pitches in baseball last season. And we haven’t even talked about his FB and cutter.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Stroman would call you a racist for that quote. fair enough, but Jansen didn't move his glove, so he called a bad pitch or he got shook off and Roark was dumb for going with the fastball!

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Drury? or did he get to camp? I think you're probably the first person to notice there's been no sign of Drury lol.

King Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Drury? or did he get to camp? Drury was placed on the injured reserve a long time ago.
