The private message thing is stupid. The system is working as is. There will be a winner. Unless the picks are updated immediately before the first pitch, there can be a concern about collusion.

A lot betting against a starter who carries a career 0.64 ERA in the playoffs. I guess the bet is he can't throw all 9 and their bullpen is otherwise very s***** (especially without Max or Corbin available - presumably)

 

Should be one hell of a match up. IMO, nothing better in sports than MLB elimination games.

J4L has a life he can't be 100% when he will update. But as for why it's happening. Laika has no losses. If everyone tomorrow takes the same team he could just take that team. He can't lose that way

With four people left, all having one loss, I have a basic 25% chance to win. Most baseball games are near coin-flips and all of us are smart enough people so winning will just be whoever is left after a bunch of coin-flips.

 

Even if the Rays only have a 35-40% chance to win today, if I am the only person to pick them this may be the best opportunity to elevate my chance to win from here on out.

 

Makes sense to me but I may be overthinking it.
