5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 Got the Jays over 8.5 hits to make the game interesting... Need one more to go. Would be nice to see the win here, always love seeing a win against the O's.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Is there money to be made in betting baseball, I havent had much luck. Run lines seem so tantalizing but ive been burnt a few times this season, and just stopped trying eventually.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Austin Hays is basically playing like prime Kiermaier against the Jays. He's catching everything and hitting very well.

If you bet off your gut, probably not.

Run lines seem so tantalizing but ive been burnt a few times this season, and just stopped trying eventually. For me, it's easily the hardest sport to bet and baseball is the sport I know the most about. It's just too unpredictable, whereas with a sport like NBA and NFL (or NCAA) you can tell a lot by what the lines are set as and how the lines fluctuate throughout the days. I've had a lot more luck going down the list of prop bets and picking out a few that catch my eye. Prop bets are generally just over/under on team hits, runs, home-runs ETC

If you bet off your gut, probably not. Yeah, you gotta look at what the Vegas lines are telling you... For example if some games are set at like 7 for an over/under you often see huge money pouring in on the over and more often than not those games go under. Vegas knows what they're doing when they set these lines and it's better to bet with them than against them.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 f*** man, need 1 more hit from the Jays. They had 6 through 3, I thought it was gonna be a slam dunk. Got some real wet noodles scheduled to bat in the 9th too

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Nice Alford! Perfect guy to get a leadoff hit. This is one heck of a game.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Did someone say Mckinney has more uncertainty regarding his value going forward than Alford? Theres no way thats true.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 This would actually not be a horrible spot to bunt if Grichuk could do it.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 It's incredible how much of a drastic difference there is between Drury the infielder and Drury the outfielder. Guy is a rock within the diamond.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Getting late....get er done.
