To be fair they really have been beating up on s*** teams. Lots of good teams coming up that will beat up on this pitching. With that being said its good for the kids to get a taste for winning. It will fuel that hunger even more when things don’t go well.

They are trying too much trying to get Vlad to pay 3rd. Just park him at first and let him mash.

 

I said that all along he'd be an all star 1st baseman rather than a mediocre 3rd baseman. They should re-sign Smoak on a one year deal to help Vlad transition to first base. Then they've got Drury for 3rd base that open a spot for McKInney in OF, trade Tellez in off season for some arm. Plus I like the DH spot open approach on rotation.
