Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 where was the fan to interfere on that hit?
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Allard is lucky lots of hard contact right at people.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 I know hes not great prospect. But how the f*** did Texas get Allard for journey man Chris Martin. Former first round pick and only 21 at the time just turned 22.

Ray Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Bichette's ability to hit to all fields is freakish man.

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Biggio struggling, that was ball 4. Oh well.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 I like Biggio and I’m not saying it was easy at 98, but the most hittable pitch he saw was strike 1. He ended up swinging at ball 4 to K. Love his eye but would like to see him more aggressive early.

But if you get one down the middle swing, doesn't matter what the count is, swing at good pitches to hit.. Easier said then done of course.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Mazara is always due for atleast one mammoth homerun against us. Also hilarious to see this scrawny ginger warming up to death metal lol.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Why does Vlad always point to first on a check swing?
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Floating strike zone good times.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Anyone who still thinks Bo can’t play SS is retarded.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 Who was it that said Bo's defence wasnt that good and he needs to be moved to 1B??
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 I have to say, McGuire calls a better game than Jansen. Three straight breaking balls down and in, and to a LHH to boot.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Fisher looks uncomfortable even when catching routine fly balls. His bat might turn into something, but he's a total spazz in the outfield, way too tentative.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 I wouldn’t be shocked if Fisher is not even on the 40-man this time next season.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 You've seen Fisher for two weeks, Jesus f***ing Christ.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Who was it that said Bo's defence wasnt that good and he needs to be moved to 1B?? I don't know if he said that verbatim, but I believe that was LTBF.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 You've seen Fisher for two weeks, Jesus f***ing Christ. So I guess his defensive ability will magically change. Nobody is arguing that his bat has potential, but his inability in tracking fly balls is just what he is unfortunately. He may improve a bit, but his defense can only be tolerated if he's raking at the plate.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 You've seen Fisher for two weeks, Jesus f***ing Christ. We've also seen Bo Bichette for two weeks...and he's clearly going to be the greatest baseball player in the history of the game.

He may improve a bit, but his defense can only be tolerated if he's raking at the plate. Derek Fisher, in his absurdly limited SSS at the major leagues, has played 760 innings in the outfield. He has 7 DRS and a UZR of 2.3. There is absolutely nothing f***ing wrong with Derek Fisher's defense. Maybe he got the yips because a ball hit him in the f***ing face, but just because he looks awkward catching a ball near his head doesn't mean he's doing anything wrong out there FFS. IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS.
