Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Author Posted August 11, 2019 That DP Vladdie hit into was from a 99.6 mph fastball
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Ok now Bo is showing a decent at-bat now
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Author Posted August 11, 2019 Another great AB from Bo so far
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 LOVE watching these kids battle Chapman.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Back to back fantastic abs. Love it.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Bo's two-strike approach is outstanding.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Bo smokes a 3-2 breaking ball with a guy who throws 100. Impressive stuff.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Why do I feel like Chapman is always shaky
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Would like to see Bo be aggressive here
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Why do I feel like Chapman is always shaky Probably because you watched him implode in the playoffs
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Author Posted August 11, 2019 Damn, great pitch to get Biggio though. Kids can keep their heads high, great battles today. I'm glad I got to witness all that
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Had buntoyo no benched vladdy they would have had a better chance today
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 LOVE watching these kids battle Chapman. That was an incredible inning to watch. Love these Jays.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Had buntoyo no benched vladdy they would have had a better chance today Not sure how you get more clueless than this.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Biggio has been slumping pretty bad. I wonder if would help him to hit lower in the lineup for awhile. Bo hitting first and Vlad hitting second seems ideal for me moving forward anyway.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Had buntoyo no benched vladdy they would have had a better chance today There's still way to many Jays fans that care about wins at this point in the season. If anything make an argument involving player development, as to why he should be playing.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Author Posted August 11, 2019 Taking 2 out of 4 against the Yanks, and 2 of those losses were 1-run games, is excellent for this young ballclub

If anything make an argument involving player development, as to why he should be playing. Or just STFU because you have no idea what the best course of action for a 20 year old is (physically or mentally). Leave it to the experts and stop blaming people with 1000 times more information than you. Again - this is the type of s*** that's wrong with the world.
wamco Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 You mean Rajai Davis and yes he would be technically the guy. Although I really saw him more as platoon player over an everyday guy. He basically did play everyday at times out of pure necessity. In terms of true everyday players you would have to go all the way back to a young Alex Rios. Or back even further to Shannon Stewart. Stolen Bases is not a big part of our history. Rickey Henderson
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Author Posted August 11, 2019 Rickey Henderson Only when he was getting on base, which was rarely
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Only when he was getting on base, which was rarely .356 OBP and 22 SB in 44 games with the Jays. That's pretty good!
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Author Posted August 11, 2019 .356 OBP and 22 SB in 44 games with the Jays. That's pretty good! Not by his standards. He also sucked post-season IIRC
wamco Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 It was kind of tongue in cheek . But ya, 80 sb pace ain’t bad
