Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 Right, so we play a top flight team like the Yankees, and we get shut out. Back to the drawing board, people!!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 For anyone not listening, they said Shapiro feels the Jays should have a payroll in the #8 to #10 range in baseball (with the exchange rate hurting us a bit from being higher). This year that would put us at about $160M.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Godly has a lot of movement on his fastball... Prob better than Pannone.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 That ball Judge just hit is a HR at Yankee Stadium.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Pannone is never going to be a big league starter when he tops out at 89. He's not good enough everywhere else to compensate for that. He was pretty decent as a multi inning reliever early in the year. That is likely his best role. Pannone, SRF, and Thornton all look like RPs but they currently are 3/5 of the rotation. Lol. Going to be a lot of bad games.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 That's pretty fair really I think Yeah, agreed.

Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 I really like Galvis. Never complained, always a team player
