Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 Sogard's jersey is SOAKED. Near a 100 fahrenheit, buddy, lol. I'd be dead!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Adjusted ERA? The f*** is that? I think Buck is making up stats now...
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Adjusted ERA? The f*** is that? “ERA+ stands for “adjusted ERA.” It is defined as “a pitchers earned run average adjusted for parks pitched in and the average ERA of the pitcher’s league.” Link

Edit: I've only ever heard that stat called ERA+

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 P.S. This f***ing Ump sucks donkey balls! Grapefruit sized s***.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 That carried like a motherf***er off of Teo's bat.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Alexander has the luck of the BABIP gods. That's like three or four flyballs to the fence in the last two innings.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Alexander has the luck of the BABIP gods. That's like three or four flyballs to the fence in the last two innings. No kidding. He's really lucky he's pitching in this stadium today, or he'd be out of the game right now.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Of course he will, he's depth. You're never injury free, SRF will be in the rotation as well. So you're assuming no affordable free agent SP will be signed this off season?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Very nice catch by Teo. That's honestly the first time I can recall him being challenged by much in CF since his move there, but he played that well.

That's honestly the first time I can recall him being challenged by much in CF since his move there, but he played that well. He's so much better defensively in CF than in the corners. Some players have difficulty reading the ball off the bat in the corners.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 So you're assuming no affordable free agent SP will be signed this off season? Depth gruber? Also didn't happen last year, hopefully they do spend on pitching.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Depth gruber? I wouldn’t count spot starts / injury cover as being in the rotation in relation to my original query.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 I wouldn’t count spot starts / injury cover as being in the rotation in relation to my original query. I would, it's expected, on average 9 guys start every season due to injury.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I would, it's expected, on average 9 guys start every season due to injury. Obv, but that wasn’t what I was asking. I was asking is he going to have a regular spot in next season's rotation, not is he going to be one of the many starters we’ll use in an emergency.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Depth gruber? Also didn't happen last year, hopefully they do spend on pitching. The question initially was do you think Waguespack will be in the starting rotation next year, not will he be part of the SP depth.

Don't mind Spank, he's hitting the beers early and heavy today.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Alexander is going to need major surgery after this game to remove all those horseshoes up his ass.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 What a frustrating BABIP today for the Jays.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 At this again...117 mph line drive out for Vlad
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 Don't mind Spank, he's hitting the beers early and heavy today. Everyone's go to Spanky's hammered joke, never fails. The off season is a while away... Waguespack and SRF are pencilled in until otherwise, it's assuming no moves, if they splash on FA, they'll be depth.

Well, I can't pull that crystal ball outside my ass quite yet, or I'd be a millionaire. Give it time.
