Oh, give me a break. You think if that was Scherzer out there with 95 pitches in the 7th and wanting to finish the inning that some first time, new manager would give him the hook? And it's not like the Jays have some lights out option in the pen to put in. Stroman had every right to be pissed.

 

I don't know what it is with this forum, but there's a lot of people who are weird about Stro. The guy's the best player on the team but so many people seem kinda down on him... I don't get it.

I agree with you. Stroman is the exact kinda guy they should be trying to sign to an extension. The fans LOVE him and he's in his prime, make him the face of the pitching staff. And then he'd be the one guy to still be around from the beloved 2015-2016 runs.

I agree. Although i'm not crazy about his antics, the Jays don't have anybody outside of Nate Pearson knocking down the door in the minors. We're going to have to roster a starting pitching staff and Stroman will not be a bad part of it, if the price is right.
