I know, that was my first thought too. You put in Vlad to replace Gurriel and slide Durry to 2nd base and the lineup actually looks half decent.

Lol at Galvis leading off. He and his career .291 OBP.

Good Christ, Charlie.

Did he do anything in spring training at all? You cant keep running out different line ups every day you need some consistency

where are the jays in the overall standings?

They would be picking 7th overall in the 2020 draft (barring comp picks, etc).

I mean I guess its not great, but Galvis has had, by far, the best ABs so far this year. I'll take it over putting f***ing Brito in the 1 or 2 spot.

TO be fair, he is having the best PAs in the lineup right now by far.

I think the slappy contact hitter is going to become en vogue again here shortly with the high fastball/curveball meta of pitching these days. Everything is a cycle and we'll probably start to to back to watching boring slap singles for a few years again.

Not looking forward to it.

Considering Bauer's command issues and cold weather on Thursday, this could be a much worse game for the Blue Jays' hitters.

Jesus Smoak you could have easily had 3.

Of all the things to complain about, Smoak not getting himself thrown out at 3rd base with two outs isn't one of them.

It's not 95 but Pannone is throwing a lot harder this season than what we saw last year. Consistently hitting 90-91 and occasionally ramping it up to 92.

He's looked very stable early on.

I know its early. But, both he and Thornton have looked like starters. It'll be interesting to see what happens once Clay and Borucki are ready.
