Well, at least they've already told me that Pillar is the final out, but I could have figured that one out based on the words "Kevin Pillar".

Smoak leading off down by two with the shift on.

f*** off and push one down third and get the tying run to the plate with no out.

Bunting is dumb, and Smoak is probably bad at it.

You throw 97-98 and you dick around with an 0-2 slider?

GTFO

As opposed to an 0-2 fastball with a runner on 1st in the top of the 10th?

Fun game! Glad the Jays are back. Stroman, biagini, Giles looked good. No one else looked good. Vlad and bo cant come up fast enough

Drury looked pretty good.

It's not dumb with the third baseman playing short. C'mon man seriously, push one down third and get the tying run to the plate. McKinney comes in to pinch run and play first base if we tie the game.

You're going to see much more of this from teams this year.

WTF are you talking about? Is there something wrong with elevating a 97 MPH fastball 0-2 with a man on first?

And if he misses his spot with the fastball and gets tatoo'd? Execution is more important than pitch selection.

Nothing wrong with a slider there.... The location was the problem.

You just contradicted yourself, lol. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He hung a slider, he didn't execute the pitch, end of story. s*** happens, mistakes happen.

His numbers suggest that he's now a pretty s***** pitchers, we should generally expect pretty s***** results. I mean, if it was as simple as pitch selection, maybe someone would have talked with him about it and fixed that.

Sure, I don't know what that has to do with a hanger, I'm just commenting on that particular pitch, it didn't bite and got crushed. Pitch selection was fine, he just didn't execute.

Back to your unintelligible rants I see

King brings it on, you know that. With a man on second and no out and an 0-2 count, you should stay hard up and away generally, especially when you throw in the upper 90's You want to try and prevent the LHH from pulling the ball and advancing the runner if you can. Executing is a given obviously. By staying hard up and on the outer half, you open up many more favourable outcomes where the runner does not advance on an out, opposed to something soft.

He didn't execute, 'cause he's kinda s*****... That was my point. We can't just say "if only he'd done this", when we really mean "if only he'd been better at pitching..."

But getting on base is good. If you're gud at the bunting then lay one down... That said, the shift is usually for guys that haven't bunted since they were 8.
