Atkins with some lots of interesting things to say on Tim and Sid...

 

1) Kendrys trade came together fast. Received first offer yesterday from Oakland

 

2) was sad to trade such a good person as kendrys. He has made a lasting impression on everyone

 

3) trade doesn’t happen without the international money. It’s for this period so they will spend it soon.

 

4) likely to add to the roster. Not likely to acquire any free agent “who’s name starts with K and is still out there

 

5) not frustrating to pay players to play elsewhere. It’s the nature of free agency. It’s rare for players to stay with one organization for the whole deal late in their career.

 

6) looks forward to the young group of players coming together then spending aggressively in free agency again

 

7) bud Norris is pitching in a minor league game today. He’s just a bit behind because of when he signed

 

8) Pompey isn’t recovering quickly but he’s doing ok. 3rd concussion is bad for any athlete

 

9) Alford was here in case the morales trade didn’t go through. They also couldn’t have added guerra if morales was still here. Disappointing for Alford but he will be back for sure

Focused on vlad becoming the best player he can be. Starts with getting healthy. Be careful with Uber Eats they have some weird glitch where you dont have to confirm the order for it to be processed. My girlfriend was ordering some sushi and we needed to check what her mom wanted before we placed the order through so we put our stuff in and then minimized the app to text her mom, 10 minutes later they said our order was confirmed without her clicking anything. We tried to cancel immediately and they wanted to charge us $60. Then I googled it and found out it happened to a bunch of people. I like skip way better

1) morales was signed during a different time. Different set of circumstances. Him being DH only didn’t allow them to rest guys like they want so trading him opened up the roster flexibility they wanted

 

2) said some of the things that caused the injury might need to be addressed before vlad comes up. Still on an accelerated time frame, but needs the best foundation possible when he gets here
