I actually thought you were one of the guys he has gone after. He just has unreasonable hatred for the Sox.

I don't remember it, but it's possible. The medication I'm on really screws with my memory badly at times. Frustrating, but better than being dead though is the way I look at it.

And that's game. A shame, because if not for that lucky infield hit they at least would have a chance against Kimbrel. But the Red Sox are not only an excellent team, they also have excellent luck. Seriously, I think I hate them more than the Yankees now, what a spoiled fan base.

I've been saying for a while now that I have a lot more confidence in the Sox F.O. to f*** this up. The talent level is possibly too high for it to happen in the near future, but a rash of injuries and you never know. i do agree that I've almost never met a Sox fan I like, but I respect a really talented team.

Think of it as keeping you alive and memory loss is going to be a good thing for O's fans for the next few years.

Damn Roberts is so dumn even the President had to Tweet about it. The one time the entire country can agree with each other. Roberts bringing people together.

He spikes Pearce right after that, wish he broke his own ankle.

Not sure he did it on purpose but I wouldnt be surprised....but who has the time to blow a bubble when legging it out to first?

Like all Roberts post games it is awkward. But if Hill actually said what he says, it wouldn't fill me with confidence. Alexander didn't even come close to doing his job but this is where I think he overthinks it. His intention was Alexander get Holt out and keep JBJ, Devers and Moreland on the bench and face Vazquez (which makes sense to me). Does Alexander's walk change the plan that much? Why not let Alexander face Vazquez at least and then see who comes out to the circle at least and see if you like that matchup (likely Kinsler). He didn't explain why Madson over Baez but it sounds like he was looking ahead.

Dave Roberts is a moron. Not the first time he has done this. Analytics are great....but there are times you let your starter stay in longer.

You can't make that argument to anyone who hangs their entire existence on analytics... And there are a lot of them out there.

Maybe because Baez pitched 2IP last game while Madson only pitched 0.1 IP (2 pitches). But then again, he put Jansen (Who also pitched 2 IP last game) in for the 8th. So did he every say that he was going to pitch Jansen for the 8th and the 9th (if Jansen didn't give up the lead), or was he just putting him in the 8th to face the meat of the order?

Either way, I just think with the bullpen taxed it made more sense to go with Hill for a little while longer.

Apparently Price is now starting tonight instead of Sale, but Sale will be available in relief.

At least we'll get to see a Game 6.

I would be shocked if we see Sale tonight.

If it's a close game late, I think it's a given we'll see him. Tomorrow is an off day if they lose, so they'll just use it as his throw day. The bullpens of both teams are destroyed right now.

Kevin Barker is a 40-year man with a 15 year old haircut. I just can’t take this guy seriously at all.
