I'd like it on record that my predicted line was from Roy Halladay's debut, and none of you got the joke.

That was his second start.

Well at least I didn't get zero. But that was fun definitely made the game and this forum more interesting during a game for the first time in a long time.

Need another pizza day.

This is promising indeed. Love the movement on his pitches. Careful though, Tercet may have a panic attack.

Don't agree with his comments in the comment section on SRF not having a lot of swing and miss. Maybe he just means based on the 1 start.

Even the 1 start doesn't make sense, he dropped the ball.

He has had good stuff since he was a teen in high school, the problem is that he has no clue where his pitches are going.

That is evident by last night, pretty much every clip available of him on youtube from this year/the past and the outings that I saw of him in person back in March.

He only had 1 whiff on 19 sliders which is pretty terrible.

Yeah I know. His slider didn't look consistent with his Minors work. Probably had something to do his nerves one would think.

He admitted he was nervous EVERY pitch, nevermind the first inning. I assume he does better next time out. He did well. All things considered.

Also had an over 12% Swg/Strk... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks to 7 fastball whiffs. I don't know if that's a skill of his or not.

We'll see what he does against the Big Bad Yankees.

Why would you assume he'll do much better against a much, much better offense? Oh, because you're a dumb homer. I see.

You sir are legit, a douchecanoe, tell me his line Guru. I only mention him settling in and the prick pops out, a peewee at that. You wouldn't know as you never played a sport. Unless Dungeons and Dragons counts.

His slider has always been like this, but major league hitters are less likely to swing at it in comparison to the minors. He won't get away with all of his hanging sliders too.

Here is SRF vs Bo Bichette back in March with several hanging sliders / armside run fastballs that went up and in to right handed hitters.
