Fantasy Manager Needed (30-team Dynasty)

Greetings,

 

We are suddenly in need of a manager in a 30-team dynasty league that mimics the MLB. This is the League of #Despair that can be found in the Off Topic forum here at BJMB.

 

I remember Jimcanuck was previously interested in a spot if it opened, and Jonn has recently mentioned that he'd be interested in taking over a spot. We would love to hear from both of you below, and if there are any others interested in the spot, please drop your name in this thread.

 

This is the deepest league you'll ever play in, as it consists of 25-man rosters with 15-man farms (simulated 40-man roster experience).

 

Can supply more deets upon request. You will be taking over the St. Louis Cardinals, which are currently leading the NL Central in a very tight race to the playoffs. This is one of the league's best teams, no doubt. The Cardinals were managed very well by the previous manager.

Sadly, he's made it very clear that he wants out. It's too bad - I really liked Greenwood. But there's no time to waste, as the playoff race cannot/will not wait, so getting a new manager in quickly is the best thing for the league at this point.

I'd say give him tomorrow afternoon just in case he's drunk or something. Otherwise I agree, we need to replace him quickly in the leagues for both the playoff race and trade deadline.

This is a tough league. You really have to know your s***. That said, it's insanely fun if you're a huge nerd like the rest of us.

 

I have a lot of experience in fantasy leagues and even Baseball Mogul Leagues back in the day. But no doubt if you guys do vote me into the league I would go through a significant learning curve. My knowledge of advanced stats and analytics is better than I feel I'm given credit for here however.

 

If more ideal I would be willing to go into the role of like a Co Manager or something so I learn the league a little bit before taking over a team full time in the middle of a season.

Are you seriously suggesting that I did this on purpose you miserable *******? He had three games played. That's fair game 99% of the time. Just so happened game three was a day game. People with much more to lose have made similar mistakes. Anyone can make one and I have done nothing to deserve your bs insinuation. Remind me again why anyone puts up with your constant belly aching? Every time a rule change doesn't go the way you want it, you gripe and gripe like a self absorbed piece of s*** because god forbid you might shut up and respect that the world is not going to bend over backwards to make you almost happy for five minutes.
