bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Would be cool to see Borucki and Foley start the season next year, youth movement please.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 What a quality outing by Borucki. His craftiness sort of reminds me of Jimmy Key.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Would be cool to see Borucki and Foley start the season next year, youth movement please. It's going to be an interesting off-season. I expect pretty much the entire Pitching Staff to be overhauled.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Borucki best pitcher on our staff, including those on DL
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Excellent chance this game might be done by 12:30 that would be sweet! Feels like a Mark Buehrle start.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Who is coming in out of the pen for the 8th and 9th? I don't even know who is in the pen at this point there has been so much turnover. Hopefully Giles gets in.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Looks like Borucki is coming out for the 8th.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Not like Gibby to have a starter go over 100. Doesn't happen that often, or it appears that way.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Not like Gibby to have a starter go over 100. Doesn't happen that often, or it appears that way. That's more of a talent issue. I can't remember the last time I have seen a pitcher go this deep into a game it was probably Borucki lol.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Jonn's been on point, well, from what I've read.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 What a stud! I was at the Rogers Center Canada Day Monday and saw him pitch. I realize he is a lefty and does not have the Ks. However, he really reminded me of a young Halladay in person and on the mound.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 I believe Teo actually has now tippled more this season than we did as a team all last year. Not bad for a AAA player.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 Someone tell Solarte to watch Grichuk hustle up the line and learn.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Seattle fans watching all these Blue Jays fans at home.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Seager got f***ing murdered by that slider.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 that's two! http://i.imgur.com/YW5cUOU.gif
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Calling for a 3rd straight slider to Healy was dumb. Otherwise a dominate debut with 3 strikeouts.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Calling for a 3rd straight slider to Healy was dumb. Otherwise a dominate debut with 3 strikeouts. Well, to be fair it was one hell of a hanger. I agree though, too many breaking balls in a row never seems to end well.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Giles looked really good aside from the one hanger. Once the babip normalizes, he is going to be great again.

Yeah and I think this is the exact kind of player who will flourish in TO. Would not be surprised to see 40+ Sv from him in 2019 season and contribute bigly to an unikely run at a postseason berth.

I would settle for him having a great first half and trading him for a haul of prospects at the deadline. People will forget about his antics before long. You don't hear people mention Chris Sale going crazy running around with scissors and cutting up everyone's jersey.

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 hahaha you should post this in the mariners GDT
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Wow... that kid's going to pop! lol... we play it down as per normal...

Yep all about what have you done for me lately (in absence of drama).
