5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 They were saying on the broadcast that the new Sanchez injury doesn't have anything to do with the blister problems? I find that kind of surprising. Wasn't his fingernail surgery on his middle finger? Anyone know the exact details?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 They were saying on the broadcast that the new Sanchez injury doesn't have anything to do with the blister problems? I find that kind of surprising. Wasn't his fingernail surgery on his middle finger? Anyone know the exact details? He jammed his finger doing something pregame apparently, and it swelled up as soon as he started throwing. No one's been willing to say how he actually hurt it, so we're betting it's embarrassing. They wouldn't have taken x-rays on it if it was just a blister.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 I was thinking that if it was a contusion that maybe it has something to do with the fingernail that was operated on. The lack of details coming out makes me think that there's some kind of cover up going on. I have no idea why they'd do that though, maybe they don't wanna hurt any potential trade value?

It's his index finger, no correlation at all.

MarcoSanchez Verified Member Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Man, it feels so good to see Travis hit the opposite field homerun. Now just needs to be more consistent with the bat.
