saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Since that 1st start in AAA, where Jansen was game calling, SRF has been amazing. SRF is the one pitcher in the upper minors that truly has swing and miss stuff. He has a pretty high ceiling. I can't wait to see him up with the big club.

43211234 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Grichuk's wRC+ up to 90 with plus defense and plus baserunning. That's an asset. Meanwhile Conner Greene is still awful and Leone is dead. He's also doing this with a .203 BABIP. He raised his wRC+ by 25 points today. 65 to 90

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Jansen had nothing to do with it, he just had a bad start. First start on a new team in a new league makes it understandable. He hasn't been caught by Jansen since, and, during his poor 2017, Jansen was his main catcher. Coincidence or not, Jansen has admitted his game calling is WIP, so there's something to that.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Author Posted June 18, 2018 Soto's power is apparently the other way. The league is going to be busting him on the inner half, let's see if he adjusts. He's done nothing this series, BTS with blue balls. This is false, they were replaying 2 he hit against the Yanks 2 mammoth's to deep right center, and he just crushed one in the suspended game, lol. Even if they don't, if he's a ~100 wrc+ player with his D and base running, he'll be an asset.
