Everyone remember back in the day when the catcher would have thrown his entire body in front of home plate on that play and there would have been a collision? Remember how stupid that was?

 

What we just saw is exactly what baseball should look like. You throw to the base and the player tags the runner - just like he would on a throw to 3rd base.

The only Suicide that will happen is half the board when Grandy bunts through it and Grichuk runs into the out
