5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Good Heavens, that was a work of beauty from Estrada today. Man, he's fun to watch when he's on. Fun to see some actual depth in the infield this year! Solarte has some serious pop. Should do him well coming back to the AL East.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Yeah, I have a history of despising emotion in baseball, f***ing dolt. Don't throw labels around like you have any idea who I am. Just because you're a touchy little bitch and think everything is racist doesn't mean other people do. are you being intentionally ironic?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 are you being intentionally ironic? No, I believe the issue you're running into is that you don't know what ironic means.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I feel some on here are not being consistent If that was Brett Lawrie stealing home you all would be tearing him apart. Especially if it was him showing emotion like Solarte lol

Especially if it was him showing emotion like Solarte lol Nobody has issues with calculated success. Reckless failure is a problem. When Lawrie tried to steal home, a prime Jose Bautista was at the plate and he "just had a feeling I could get it." There was no thinking behind it and he took the bat out of the hands of the best slugger in the game (at the time) and killed the inning. Stupid risk Pillar had a limp noodle at the plate and had been studying video on Betances and how slow he was to the plate and took a calculate risk given the likelihood of a sub replacement level bat against a guy with 15 k/9 doing anything other than make himself look stupid. Acceptable risk
Showe33 Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I'm new here, and have a rather specific question related to this game - was anyone there who can help me identify one of the songs used just prior to the game? I keep hearing it all over, but I don't have data on my phone to run an app like Shazaam. Is there another thread where I can find music used at the RC?

Maybe some of the prospects will bring that when they come up

When you think you're the second coming of Brooks Robinson, but are far from it, and act like an 18 year old frat boy... it's gonna rub people the wrong way.
