This team would be better if Morales wasn't on it. I won't disagree. But it's poor asset management to just DFA him and eat the rest of his contract. They're doing what makes sense with the assets they have and their financial commitments

Eating 22 million is piss poor management. They have to try to get something out of him. Nobody significant is ready to step in and make that much of a difference in the win/loss column.
