BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 The fWAR breakdown per position : https://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=ALL&teamid=14 They’re projecting Sanchez with 130IP, 4.46ERA & 1.6 WAR Tulowitzki with 546PA & 2.5 WAR Travis with 455PA & 1.7 WAR Grichuk with 525PA & 1.7 WAR Garcia 121IP, 4.47ERA& 1.4 WAR Interesting take. It would mean a decently healthy season, maybe a bit too optimistic. Would be hoping to get a better projection out of Sanchez if he manages to pitch 130+ innings, he only had 36IP last year. Also Vlad Jr with 14 PAs, lol
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 The jays front office seems more collaborative. According to Atkins, Cherington worked with Garcia's agent on this deal. I'm sure Atkins, Cherington, LaCava, Tinnish, etc, do a lot of grunt work, and maybe Shapiro too, to get deals done, just that Shapiro has the final say. A random homeless man has probably done more work in the past year than Beeston did in his last tenure with the Jays. Didn't Tinnish leave to join AA in Atlanta?

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 I forgot Cherington was part of the FO. Anyway, this probably caps off a pretty stellar offseason. We added so much potential with virtually no risk. Really excited for this year's team.
