He can pinch-run and play CF defense, very versatile.

Maybe they'll use him as a poor man's Ohtani, haha. Weird to see a guy with over 350 MLB games being taken in the rule 5 draft.

I guess. I just think that if is pitching well enough to warrant staying on the roster, you would want to limit his injury exposure running and playing the field. And if he isn't pitching that well, the value of having a pinch runner / defensive CF'er (especially in the AL) probably wouldn't out-weigh just calling up a better RP

They'll use him in low leverage situations, if it doesn't work out send him back to the original org. There's no risk.

Nope, there are no restrictions for AAA picks. They are yours to keep.
