I agree. He's looked good in this short stint. I would be completely fine with paying him $5-$6 mil to be a 5th starter if it means we can spend more on a corner bat or someplace else.

Not to mention that baseball is becoming way too predictable. It's pretty much a TTO game now and, subsequently, the long ball has lost its shine. I also hate that strikeouts are pretty much a widely accepted outcome. "No worries, son, you'll get that homer next time". *ass pat*

 

I can't live in that world, so change the goddamn balls back!

Why would Gibby waste a solid defender in Hernandez to pinch hit for Lopez who is nowhere near offensively polished yet in a tight game? Where the f*** is Pearce? Heck, he should have just let Maile PH for Lopez and then assume the position. Hernandez currently has more value in his legs and defence opposed to his bat as a non starter in a tight game. Gibby is just plain dumb as f***.

Maybe Pearce is hurt, maybe Gibby just wants to get a look at Hernandez and other young players in certain situations. If we were in the thick of it, we'd probably be seeing a lot more of Saunders and Pearce.

Yeah but Gibby also has a responsibility to play contending teams to win, not experiment. Gibby fully realizes this, he's just dumb.

Did i just see Morales take a 3-2 fastball literally right down the middle? You're not supposed to be guessing with two strikes Kendrys. This all or nothing approach that seems to be coming more of a norm in baseball is sickening.

We've been pretty good and luck in finding those relievers, out of nowhere. from Barnes, Tepera, Leone to Ramirez. Look promising for the future.

 

Mayza and Dermody looking interesting too.
