I mean like a legit robot that stands behind home plate and calls balls and strikes based on some infrared strike zone that only he can see.

 

He could be programmed to argue with the managers and throw them out if a certain threshold of anger is detected.

 

Thye could be set to look and act like Leslie Neilson from Naked Gun

 

The only downside would be the inevitable complaints that the bots are programmed to favour the Yankees and Red Sox
