Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I just hope he sticks around as a starter, even if it's the 5. I'd rather have the in house option for league minimum than having to spend 5 millionish to fill that spot.

I really doubt the PED's are what put him on that level, it's not like his game relied on power. He's a very solid all-around player.

The change in circumstances may have a bigger effect, e.g. known as a cheat, not as popular with fans or media (doubt his teammates care).

 

You've got to be very strong mentally to come back from that.

Probably best to have him as like the number 8 guy. If they go into the year with him as a 5 the team is in a lot of trouble.
